About Pasargad Oil Company

Pasargad Oil Company was established in 2003 with the aim of managing and operating six bitumen production plants located at the Tehran, Shazand Arak, Abadan, Tabriz, Shiraz, and Bandar Abbas refineries. These facilities have a combined annual production capacity of more than four million tonnes.

The company’s product portfolio includes a wide range of bitumen grades, including penetration-grade bitumen, viscosity-grade bitumen, performance-grade bitumen, bitumen emulsions, cutback bitumen, and polymer-modified bitumen.

Benefiting from its technical and economic advantages, Pasargad Oil Company currently holds more than half of Iran’s domestic bitumen market. The company also maintains a significant share of Iran’s bitumen export market through its two export terminals—Shahid Rajaee Terminal in Bandar Abbas and Imam Khomeini Terminal in Mahshahr—along with direct access to international trade routes and a storage capacity of more than 150,000 tonnes.

The strategic geographical distribution of the company’s six production plants enables efficient product distribution throughout Iran and facilitates exports through the country’s various border crossings and ports.
