Arak Refinery

Shazand refinery in Arak was opened in 1993 with the capacity of 150.000 barrels a day by the hardworking Iranian professionals with the help of two foreign companies TPL from Italy JGC from Japan. This refinery is one of the most modern refineries in Iran which is equipped with the latest technology of the world. Lead-free gasoline is one of the valuable products of this refinery. Arak Plant  

Bitumen production unit of this refinery deals with the production of grade 60/70 bitumen using vacuum residu and air. nominal capacity of this unit 5500 barrels a day which can be increased to 11.000 barrels a day.
